Simply put, hydrotherapy is the use of water to relieve discomfort and promote physical well-being. Hot tubs use powerful jets of warm water and air to massage the neck, shoulders, lumbar, legs and feet. The combination of immersion, heat and hydromassage improves blood circulation, reduces muscle tension, promotes relaxation and offers a variety of health benefits.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HYDROTHERAPY?

Because Marquis designs and manufactures therapeutic hot tubs, we might seem a little biased about hydrotherapy. But we have good reasons, from our relationship with Make-A-Wish® to countless rave reviews from around the globe. Based on the feedback we have received, there are five main benefits of hydrotherapy (select one):

IS ALL HYDROTHERAPY CREATED EQUAL?

Other hot tub companies talk about pump horsepower and sell large jet pack modules. But when it comes to the hydrotherapy experience, their designs fall short. How so? Too much water pressure through a small jet feels like “pins and needles” on your skin, and dispersing water through a large module weakens its potential energy. In both cases, the muscle penetration is too shallow and won’t provide as much satisfaction. Plus, each of those large modules traps several gallons of water when the hot tub is not in use. Without circulation and filtration all that warm water stagnates, making it more prone to biofilm (a thin, slimy bacterial growth).

WHAT IS THE MARQUIS APPROACH TO HYDROTHERAPY?

Over the course of 40 years of meticulous refinement, Marquis has mastered the art of hydrotherapy. We obsess over the smallest details so you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the ultimate experience.

Standard on every Marquis therapeutic hot tub is our elegant high-flow, low-pressure design. From pump and jet selection to jet count and distribution, the result is a perfectly-balanced system that delivers the best hydromassage. By moving more water, more efficiently, and doing a better job of focusing it where it counts, the result is deeper muscle penetration without skin discomfort.
